Terms
The agreement between you and Kubly — who can use it, what you are responsible for, and how plans, credits and cancelling work.

Who we are
Kubly is a trading name of KUBLY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17512828), whose registered office is Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London E17 3NU. These terms are between you and KUBLY LTD.
These terms apply to the Kubly website and app at kubly.app. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information and your child's.
Who can use Kubly
- You must be 18 or over and the parent or carer of any child you add. Kubly is for families, not for schools or businesses.
- The account is yours. A child may use Kubly under your account, with as much or as little supervision as you judge right, but you are responsible for what happens on it.
- Keep your password and parent PIN to yourself. The PIN exists so that a child cannot approve what our safety check has flagged; if you share it, that protection is gone.
What Kubly makes
Kubly uses AI to make stories, colouring pages, activities and homework help to your request. That means:
- It can be wrong. A story may have a mistake in it; a homework hint may be off. Read what Kubly makes before your child does, the way you would with anything from the internet. Kubly is a help, not a teacher or a tutor, and we make no promise about educational results.
- It is for your family. Print it, keep it, read it a hundred times. You may not sell what Kubly makes or pass it off as a product of your own.
- What you upload stays yours. A photo you upload is used only to make what you asked for and is deleted immediately afterwards. You must have the right to upload it — your own family photos, your own child's homework.
- Kubly itself is ours — the software, the design, Bexo, and the library content — and stays ours.
What you ask for is your responsibility
Kubly makes what it is asked for. Every idea passes through an automated safety check first, and we will refuse to make things that are sexual, violent, hateful, demeaning, or otherwise unsuitable for a child. When the check is unsure — a story about a grandparent dying, a character with a medical condition — it asks for your parent PIN. Entering it means you have decided this is right for your child, and you take responsibility for that.
Do not use Kubly to try to make anything harmful to a child, to get around the safety check, or to put another person's private details into a story. We may refuse a request, remove content, or close an account that does these things — with notice where we can, and without it where the attempt is serious.
If Kubly makes something you think it should not have, use Report a problem on that item or email us. We look at every report.
Plans, credits and billing
- Free and paid. Kubly has a free tier and paid plans billed monthly or annually. Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where it applies.
- Founding members. The first 500 annual Family or Family Plus subscriptions get a founding price: 35% less than a year of monthly payments for the first 100, 25% less for the next 400. Founding status lasts as long as your subscription continues, whatever plan or billing period you move to. The founding price applies whenever you are on Family or Family Plus annual, at the rate you first got; on Starter or monthly billing you pay the normal price. Founding status ends when your subscription ends, if a payment is reversed through your bank (a chargeback), or if a founding payment is refunded in full more than 14 days after it was made. If you cancel for a refund within 14 days of becoming a founding member, your place goes back to other families.
- Credits. Everything Kubly makes costs credits. Paid plans add a monthly allowance; unused credits roll over up to your plan's limit, shown in Settings → Credits. Top-up credits count towards that same limit. Bonus credits from referrals sit outside it and never expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- If a generation fails — an error, or our safety check or the AI declining — the credits are returned automatically. You are only charged for what is actually made.
- Renewal and cancelling. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. We email you about 14 days before an annual plan renews, with the date and the amount. Cancel any time in Settings → Billing with your parent PIN. Within 14 days of your first payment, or of an annual renewal payment, you can cancel for a refund (below). Otherwise, cancelling stops the next payment: you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, we show you the date, and you can undo it before then. We email you whenever a plan is cancelled or refunded.
- Refunds. Within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription, or of an annual renewal payment, you can cancel and get a refund straight away in Settings → Billing. We refund what you paid in those 14 days, less a share for the credits you have used since that payment: the credits used divided by all the credits the billing period includes. For example, an annual Family plan includes 6,000 credits; if you have used 300, we keep 5% of the payment and refund 95%. We show you the exact amount before you confirm. The plan ends at once and any plan credits you have not used are removed. After 14 days, a paid period is not refunded when you cancel part-way through, except where the law says otherwise, but you can ask from the same page and we will look at every request. Top-up credits cannot be refunded once bought.
- Changing plans. Move up or down whenever you like. Moving up takes effect straight away; moving down takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Price changes. If we change a plan's price we will email you at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before then.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Referrals
You can share a referral code with friends; when someone signs up with it and subscribes, you both receive bonus credits as described on the Referrals page. Referring yourself, or creating accounts to collect rewards, is not allowed and we will take those credits back.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. That removes your account, every child profile, everything made for them and the homework records, and cancels any subscription immediately. It cannot be undone.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to stop offering Kubly. If we close Kubly altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any period you have paid for but not used.
The legal bit
- We provide Kubly with reasonable care and skill, but it is an AI product used at home and we cannot promise it will always be available, or that everything it makes will be accurate or suitable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for any business loss. Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. Nothing limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring a claim there too.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Small clarifications we will just make, with the date updated at the top of this page.
